Protecting income & family

A note from Andre

I approach insurance the way I approach engineering

Understand the problem first. Compare the available options. Explain the tradeoffs. Build around what the person actually needs.

Before insurance, I spent years as a software engineer and technical operator, including work with organizations such as Disney, The Washington Post, and Blue Origin. Like a lot of working professionals, I treated employer life insurance as just another benefit in a company portal — until I learned this business deeply enough to see how many people don't clearly understand what coverage they have, what they need, or what happens when their employment changes.

I became licensed so I could sit down with people directly, understand their situation, and help them get coverage that fits it. That's the whole practice.

About medical exams

Some policies may be available without a medical exam

Depending on the carrier and product, coverage may be issued using health questions or electronic underwriting instead of an exam. Eligibility and underwriting requirements vary — and Andre will tell you exactly what applies to any option you're considering.

Explore My Coverage Options
  • Some plans use health questions instead of an exam
  • Some simplified products can reach a decision in days rather than weeks
  • Some policies may have limited benefits or waiting periods in the early policy years — this will always be explained before you apply
  • Applications can typically be completed remotely by phone
