Final expense insurance
A plan for final costs, so your family doesn't inherit them
Final expense insurance is a type of smaller permanent life insurance. It provides a death benefit that beneficiaries may use for funeral costs, burial or cremation expenses, medical bills, debts, or other needs.
What it is — plainly
Funerals and final bills routinely cost thousands of dollars, and they arrive at the worst possible moment. A final expense policy exists so that money is there when it's needed, paid to the beneficiary you choose, who can use it as they see fit.
For most people this isn't a complicated financial decision. It's a simple one: make sure the people you love aren't handed a bill on the hardest day of their lives.

What you should know before buying
- It is paid insurance, not a free benefit. You pay premiums for a policy issued by an insurance carrier.
- It is not a government or state program. Despite what some mailers and ads imply, there is no government "senior final expense benefit."
- Coverage and pricing depend on your situation. Age, health, state, benefit amount, and carrier all affect what's available and what it costs.
- Some plans may not require a medical exam. Health questions or electronic underwriting may still apply.
- Some policies have limited benefits or waiting periods during the early policy years. If a policy you're considering works this way, Andre will explain exactly how before you apply.
How Andre approaches it
Most people looking at final expense coverage aren't shopping for a complicated financial product. They want one specific outcome: their family shouldn't have to come up with money for a funeral. Andre's job is to find a policy that accomplishes that at a premium you can sustain — and to explain the exact features, limitations, and costs of any policy before you apply.
The process
Complete the short form or call directly. Andre will ask about your goals, budget, and health, review the options that may fit, and explain each one in plain English. If you choose to apply, he'll help you through the carrier's process. All coverage is subject to the carrier's underwriting and approval.
